Floating World Auctions Shipping Procedures
We are committed to shipping your purchase(s) in the most secure and timely fashion possible. Accordingly, we have made arrangements with The UPS Store #2203, 1341 W. Fullerton Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614, 773-477-7670, attention: Eric, to act as the primary shipper for domestic shipments, and packager for international shipments. We will deliver prints to The UPS Store, so you will not incur a pick up charge. Of course, you may elect to use another shipper.
We expect to begin releasing lots that have been paid for to The UPS Store on
Thursday, November 12.
The UPS Store can provide the best domestic rates to you for shipments made through United Parcel Service. If you would like to get an estimate in advance, you will need to supply the dimensions of the largest piece in the package (remember, generally our listings give the dimensions of the image only, exclusive of margins), as well as a hypothetical insured value. The UPS Store accepts major credit cards, as well as PayPal.
As a courtesy to our international customers, we can ship their purchases using Global Priority Mail through the US Post Office (subject to size restrictions), at their expense. However, such packages will still need to go to the UPS Store to be wrapped. Accordingly, winning international bidders will make a second payment to
Floating World Auctions, reimbursing the cost of packaging, shipping and insurance.
We recommend that you insure all packages for the full purchase price, including buyer’s premium. Upon request, we can purchase private insurance, at the recipient’s expense, for packages that otherwise would not be fully insured. Neither
Floating World Auctions nor Floating World Gallery is responsible for any loss or damage to any package while with The UPS Store or in transit.
